TransVision 2001, the 4th European Transhumanist Gathering

Program:
The program will consist of talks about various topics related to
Transhumanism. There will also be time for the informal get-togethers that
have made the previous Transvisions so enjoyable, allowing Transhumanists
from all over Europe to exchange ideas, views and far-flung speculations.
Full board and lodging are provided (see below). The conference will begin
with a dinner on Friday evening; wrap-up and departure will be on Sunday
afternoon.

A detailed conference schedule will be given soon.


Call for Presentations:
You are kindly invited to give talks and presentations at the conference.
We would like to have a final program ready by end of March, so please give
us your confirmation as soon as possible. All submissions should include a
short abstract. Topics for the conference include, but are not limited to:

                    Anti-Aging Research
                    Brain Research
                    Uploading
                    Nanotechnology
                    Genetic Engineering
                    Artificial Intelligence
                    Social Implications of Transhumanism
                    Other future technologies


Fee:
The standard conference fee, including accommodation and food, is 320
Euros. (This includes single hotel room, breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee,
conference materials, conference T-shirt.) Early registrants whose
applications are received by April 30, 2001, only pay the reduced fee of
300 Euros.
